Activity Notification forms
This online form must be submitted at least 7 days before any activity. A copy of this form will be emailed to you for your records. To complete the form, click on the AN Form and fill out the online form. This will be automatically sent to the District Commissioner (and any other designated District contact). A copy will also be sent to you for your records. You should make sure your Group Scout Leader (GSL) is also made aware.
Nights Away Notification forms
This online form provides the information a Commissioner requires to approve an event to take place (i.e. POR 9.1b/9.1c). When you submit the form, it is automatically sent to the relevant commissioner (and their designate where applicable). This form should be submitted at least seven days before the event in normal circumstances. To complete the form, click on the NAN form to take you to the online form.
Please note, it is no longer necessary to advise the Host DC of your Nights Away event, these fields have now been removed from the NAN form.
Notes on completing the AN and NAN forms
When you complete the AN and NAN forms then press the submit button, you should receive an acknowledgement screen. If you do not receive the acknowledgement screen, it means there is an error.
There are really only 2 errors that can happen:
- You have filled in your email address incorrectly. It should be a plain email address i.e. firstname.lastname@example.org
- You have not filled in all of the required fields.
There will be an error message after the field in error, however you do have to check carefully as the error messages are plain text and not highlighted.
