Avon Scout Rifle Club Shooting and Archery Competition @ Chelwood Campsite
Sep 30 all-day

It’s that time of the year to remind you all about the up and coming event which has grown in popularity every year since its inception in 2007, the Avon Scout Rifle Club Shooting and Archery Competition.

On Sunday 30th September 2018 Avon Scout Rifle Club will be holding its Annual Shooting and Archery Competition at Chelwood Campsite near Keynsham.  We would like to invite the Scouts, Explorers, Network Members and Adults Members from all over the Cotswold Edge District to join in the event.

We are pleased to say that every year this event has grown in popularity and over the years we have successfully added extra disciplines for competitors to test their skills.  The competition is made up of compulsory disciplines, involving rifle and pistol shooting as well as archery.  There is also the optional discipline of Clay Pigeon Shooting for everyone to try out if they wish. In 2018 we are working to introduce a new discipline, Crossbow, this will be an exciting addition for scouts and adults alike to try out.

Attached to this notice you will find three documents, an A4 size poster and an A3 size poster to display on the notice boards at Scout huts plus an A5 version you can use as a hand out if you wish.

For full details and more information and for the competition entry link go to www.asrc.org.uk where competitors can sign up immediately and use our Paypal facility to pay their entry fees if they wish.  Sign up is on a first come basis, participant numbers are limited, so don’t delay.

We look forward to seeing participants from all over the Cotswold Edge District taking part on the 30th September.
